Reno County Dispatch confirmed that 15 patients in the county were affected by carbon monoxide on Thursday morning. 

The call was from the 1800 East Wasp Rd. block near Yoder. No patients at the scene were taken to the hospital. 

As of 10:58 a.m., the cause of the interaction has yet to be determined. The Hutchinson Tribune will update this story when new information comes out.

The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce announced the upcoming 2025 Legislative Forum dates.

• Saturday, February 15: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

• Saturday, March 8: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

• Saturday, April 26: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

All three forums will take place at the Stringer Fine Arts Center in the Gallery Theatre at 600 East 11th Ave. in Hutchinson.

The Reno County legislators invited to participate are Sen. Michael Murphy and Reps. Joe Seiwert, Paul Waggoner, Kyler Sweely and Kevin Schwertfeger.  Written questions will be accepted that morning. Questions may also be submitted in advance at http://hutchchamber.com/advocacy/legislativeforum

The forum is presented by AT&T with supporting sponsorship from Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System and organized by the Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee. There is no cost to attend the legislative forums. Members of the Chamber and the general public are encouraged to attend.

An audience will fill the main floor of the Hutchinson Public Library on Friday evening to hear ten unique stories during the 21st edition of Talk20 Hutch.

The scheduled presenters are:

  • Dr. Megan Bartley

Each presentation follows a specific format, with speakers discussing 20 slides for 20 seconds each.

The event begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24. Doors open at 6:30, and there will be an intermission after the first five presentations.
