Hutchinson Trinity Catholic junior Drew Dechant pitched a complete game and struck out 18 of the 21 batters he faced in the Celtics’ 3-1 victory in Game 2 of a doubleheader Thursday night.
The Trinity Celtics baseball team lost to the Remington Broncos 15-3 in Game 1.
The Trinity softball team lost to Remington 16-0 and 16-4 Thursday at Fun Valley.
Hutchinson Trinity baseball and softball teams host Moundridge on Tuesday and play at Sterling next Friday.
The Remington baseball team plays a 3 p.m. doubleheader Tuesday at Little River.
The Remington softball team hosts a 3 p.m. doubleheader Tuesday against Council Grove.
