We welcome letters of general interest to the community, preferably related to content in The Hutchinson Tribune. We reserve the right to edit for clarification or length. Letters should be fewer than 400 words, and writers are limited to one letter every other week.
Letters are due by noon on Monday before publication and must be signed with the writer’s name, address and phone number for verification purposes. Only the name and hometown will be included in the printed letter.
We do not publish poetry, open or anonymous letters or letters printed elsewhere.
Letters are printed at the discretion of The Editorial Board, but an effort is made to include all rule-abiding letters weekly.
Sometimes, due to volume, letters may need to hold, although this is not normally the case.
