New members join Cosmosphere boards

HUTCHINSON—The Cosmosphere announced new members on its governing board and the Cosmosphere Foundation Board for 2026 on Tuesday.

New members of the Cosmosphere Foundation Board include:

Sandy Marshall, strategic communications lead for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Michael Lapidus, director of government affairs at SpaceX.

Rob Fee, wealth management financial adviser for CAPTRUST and current Cosmosphere Governing Board chairperson.

New members of the Cosmosphere Governing Board include:

Benjamin Anderson, president and CEO of Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System.

Tony Finlay, executive director at Hutchinson Recreation Commission. Finlay just completed a term on the Cosmosphere Foundation Board.

“The Cosmsophere is grateful for the time, expertise, and passion these individuals bring ot our organization,” Cosmosphere CEO Jim Remar said in the announcement. “Their leadership will play an important role as we continue to preserve space history, deliver world-class educational experiences, and inspire future generations to come.”
