Cosmosphere VP to speak on camp benefits

HUTCHINSON—The Cosmosphere’s camps will be the subject of Coffee at the Cosmo on Nov. 16.

Cosmosphere Vice President of Education JoAnna Strecker will speak on how camp programs can improve both learning and confidence in science, technology, engineering, and math while also developing skills in communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving.

Coffee at the Cosmo will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Nov. 16 at the Cosmosphere, 1100 N. Plum St., and is free to the public. The presentation also will be available on the Cosmosphere’s YouTube channel about a week after the event.
