As a resident of Hutchinson for over 60 years, and an active business owner and community volunteer for the past 41 years, I’m pleased to say I am supporting Stacy Goss for election for City Council in the Northwest District.
I am very appreciative of all the residents that are willing to volunteer their time for the betterment of the community.
That being said, I have had the opportunity to work with Stacy in several different capacities throughout the past several years.
She has shown me to be a good listener, an eager learner, and a person that wants to do what is best for the community at large. Some of our encounters were perhaps not the easiest, or most clear-cut; we are not always going to agree on every issue that hits the agendas, but I always felt that she wanted to come up with solutions, and was always professional and courteous in her approach.
Leadership isn’t easy—you take a lot of friendly fire and unfriendly fire, on a regular basis. What I have learned about Stacy is she is very committed to the hometown she grew up in and not afraid to tackle problems head-on.
I appreciate her past service to the City Council, and am eager to continue to watch her growth with the initiatives that she has already put a lot of effort into.
I hope you will join me in supporting Stacy Goss for the Northwest District City Council position.
