A few community trick or treat events are scheduled in western Sedgwick County now through Nov. 1.
The Colwich Community Library Trunk or Treat will be from 7 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, in the lot north of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at the intersection of Fifth Street and Colwich Avenue.
Mount Hope’s Trunk or Treat Halloween on Main Street will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. The event will kick off with free hot dogs served from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a costume parade at 6:45 p.m. There will be prizes for all age groups in the costume parade, and a prize for the best decorated trunk or table.
Garden Plain will celebrate with Owloween: Trick or Treat on Main Street from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, in the 400 and 500 blocks of Main Street.
