Royals commentator to speak at Hutch Chamber’s Annual Meeting

Color commentator for the Kansas City Royals, Rex Hudler, has been named the featured speaker at the 2025 Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting.

Doors will open for the meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Meadowlark Building on the Kansas State Fairgrounds.

Hudler has been a part of the Royals’ broadcast team since 2012. Prior to becoming a broadcaster, Hudler spent 21 years playing professional baseball, including 13 years in the Major Leagues and a year overseas playing in Japan.

Hudler is famous for his energetic broadcasting style, his catchphrases, and his storytelling.

Inspired by his son, Cade Hudler, Rex and his wife, Jennifer, co-founded the nonprofit Team Up for Down Syndrome to support families and raise awareness nationwide.

Early bird pricing is available, for Chamber members only, at $100 per seat or $1000 per table of 10. Starting Oct. 29, member pricing will rise to $110 per seat and $1100 per table, and tickets will also be open for the general public at $130 per seat and $1300 per table.
