Hutch schools kick off fall season with scrimmage at Gowans Stadium

HUTCHINSON—On Friday, Aug. 29, Hutchinson High School’s (HHS) football team took the field for their annual Blue and Gold scrimmage at 7 p.m. at Gowans Stadium, introducing their and Hutchinson Middle School’s (HMS) fall sports teams. The youth football teams also scrimmaged, and there were performances by the middle and high school dance and cheer teams, as well as the HHS pep band and color guard. The event was accompanied by food trucks from Mobb Foods, Los Supreme Glizzies, and Hutch Shaved Ice in the parking lot, starting at 5:30 p.m.
