The Kansas State Fair announced that two alternative rock bands have been added to its 2025 lineup.
The Fray with Plain White T’s will perform at the Nex-Tech Grandstand on Saturday, September 13, at 7:30 p.m.
“Known for their emotionally charged alt-rock sound, The Fray captured the hearts of listeners in the early 2000s and beyond. Known for their deeply personal lyrics and emotive piano-driven rock, the band’s music has continued to inspire fans across generations. Their breakout single, ‘How To Save A Life,’ spent 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the unofficial anthem of the hit series ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ The band has earned four Grammy Award nominations, three Billboard Music Awards, and critical acclaim from ‘Rolling Stone’ for their ‘stick-in-your-head hooks and eloquent narratives,'” the fair said in a press release.
Two-time Grammy nominees Plain White T’s will open.
Tickets for the general public go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 23.
The Kansas State Fair ticket office is open Monday through Friday, 9 – 4:30. Tickets can be purchased online, at the ticket office and by calling 620-669-3618.
