Our Kansas Constitution already limits voting to U.S. citizens aged 18 and older and provides for absentee voting.
The proposed wording change to our Constitution sounds simple, but it would open the door to create barriers that would make it more difficult for eligible voters to vote, resulting in voter suppression. We should not make it harder for eligible citizens to vote.
There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in Kansas, so there is no need for this amendment. Please vote “no” on the amendment question.
