HUTCHINSON—The Battle of the Badges Hutchinson Community Blood Drive surpassed its day-one goal Monday, Jan. 27, with 121 units of blood donated compared to a goal of 5 units, American Red Cross Blood Services announced.
For the Battle of the Badges portion of the blood drive, through one day, firefighters led police 60 votes to 48.
The blood drive was scheduled to continue Tuesday and Wednesday.
