Battle of the Badges blood drive starts Jan. 24

HUTCHINSON—The American Red Cross will have a four-day Battle of the Badges community blood drive starting Saturday, Jan. 24., challenging the Hutchinson Police Department and Hutchinson Fire Department to see which agency donates more blood.

Times and locations for the blood drive include 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 24 at New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 700 E. 25th Ave., and noon to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 26, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 27, and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 28 at First Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Sherman Ave.

Donors can schedule an appointment by visiting redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS. The sponsor code for the blood drive is “HUTCHINSON.”

All donors will receive a T-shirt while supplies last and will be entered in other drawings.
