Work at Fourth and Poplar avenues expected to last two weeks

By Hutchinson Tribune Staff

HUTCHINSON—The City of Hutchinson Public Works Department discovered damage to a stormwater drainage box caused by another utility recently when doing a curb repair at the intersection of Fourth and Poplar avenues.

As a result, city crews are completing repairs to the storm box, curb, and a sidewalk ramp.

Traffic is currently reduced to one lane both ways near the intersection, and the anticipated timeline for completion of the repairs is about two weeks.
