Jeffry Huffman, 69, of Hutchinson, died Dec. 22, 2025, at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita. He was born Sept. 3, 1956, in Hutchinson, to Douglas Clair and Carlene Inez (Acuff) Huffman.
Jeff graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1974 and worked at Lowen Corporation, retiring from the sign division after 41 years. Jeff enjoyed sci-fi, rock music, motorcycles, his Corvette and spending time with the Central Kansas Corvette Association.
Jeff married the love of his life, Susie, in 2007, and they spent 10 beautiful years together. With this marriage, Jeff gained his children, Tommy, Jamie, Amanda and Nathan. He was known to arrive unannounced with surprises for his grandchildren often.
He is survived by two sons, Tommy (Katie) and Nathan; two daughters, Jamie (Straun) and Amanda (Seth); many grandchildren; and three beloved dogs, Dottie, Maizee and Harvey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terry; and wife, Susie.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Home Builders’ Shelter, Carey Park, Hutchinson, on Sunday, Jan. 25, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter.
