Circles director knows struggles of poverty firsthand
Sarah Haworth, executive director of Circles of Reno County, uses her own experiences of being in poverty, including living in a car with her husband and children for nearly a year, in guiding the local chapter of the national organization designed to help local residents “build a path out of poverty” by learning how to navigate systems and work with volunteer middle-class “allies” who surround the family and help guide them for 18 months.
