HUTCHINSON—At 3:40 p.m. on Nov. 30, the City of Hutchinson Fire Department (HFD) was called about a garage fire taking place on the 700 block of Avenue C.
First responders arrived to find smoke coming from the garage, and discovered the fire after opening the walk-through garage door. Crews worked quickly to get the fire under control and remained on the scene afterwards to investigate and clean up tools.
In their statement, HFD thanked Reno County EMS, the Hutchinson Police Department, and the City of Hutchinson’s Public Works Department.
