Kansas Livestock Association honors scholarship winners

MANHATTAN—Thirty-five scholarship winners for the 2025-26 school year were recognized during the annual Kansas Livestock Association Convention on November 19, in Manhattan. A total of $39,500 was presented by the Kansas Livestock Foundation and its partners.

Among them were a Colwich native named Jackson McCurry and a Hutchinson Community College student native named Isom Marston.

McCurry is the son of Jesse and Rhonda McCurry. He is a freshman majoring in agricultural business as well as animal sciences and industry. He received a Rally House EAT BEEF scholarship for $1,000.

Marston is the son of Shad and Thea Marston. He is a Canton native who is a sophomore majoring in agriculture at Hutchinson Community College. He received a $1,000 Glenn & Glyde Lindstrom scholarship.
