HUTCHINSON—The city of Hutchinson announced that water service disconnections for nonpayment will resume beginning Monday, Dec. 1.

The city implemented a temporary pause on Nov. 4 to provide residents additional stability during a period of financial uncertainty.

Customers who need more time to pay or who wish to discuss payment arrangements are encouraged to contact the Utility Billing Office as soon as possible. Payment arrangements are available.

Residents may call 620-694-2621, email billing@hutchinsonks.gov, or visit the Utility Billing Office at City Hall to discuss options.

To avoid interruption of service, customers should make payments according to their assigned billing group:

  • Group 1: Dec.1

  • Group 2: Dec. 5

  • Group 3: Dec. 12

  • Group 4: Dec. 26

Residents can use the city’s interactive utility billing map to look up their address and identify their billing group. Interactive Map: https://bit.ly/HutchBillingGroups

Payments remain due according to schedule, and customers are encouraged to stay current to avoid service interruption. Customers with questions or concerns can reach the Utility Billing Office at 620-694-2621 or billing@hutchinsonks.gov.
