Since embarking on the Landmark Historic Renovation project, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with our City Staff and Council. I can honestly say that our current council is among the best Hutchinson has ever had. Each of the five members approaches their role with diligence, thoughtfulness, and a deep commitment to doing what’s best for our community.
Two of our council members, Greg Fast and Stacy Goss, are up for reelection this year. They have been two of the biggest cheerleaders in helping the Landmark renovation happen. A historic renovation like the Landmark doesn’t require money from the City, but rather it takes a lot of administrative time and approvals.
If I lived in either of their districts, Stacy and Greg would both have my full support. Over the past four years, Hutchinson has made tremendous progress, and Greg and Stacy’s leadership has played a key role in that success. Both take the time to thoroughly research issues, listen to constituents, and make decisions that reflect what is best for Hutchinson as a whole. Housing and daycare are two desperately needed components for our economy to attract new companies. Both have been key topics they helped move forward in their first term.
The results speak for themselves: a new hotel and Old Chicago, a new YMCA, expanded daycare options, the Evergy plant, multiple new housing developments, and significant progress addressing blight across our community. These achievements set Hutchinson on a path toward even greater growth and vitality.
Both Stacy and Greg care deeply about Hutchinson’s future and have proven their dedication through countless hours of volunteer service as council members and mayor. The City Council is not an easy job, but their continued commitment inspires confidence and pride in our city’s direction.
I am truly grateful for their leadership and excited that they are willing to serve another term to keep Hutchinson moving forward. Please make your voice heard vote for Greg Fast and Stacy Goss on November 4th! Early voting is open now—skip the line and vote today!
