The Reno County Annex, 125 W. First Ave., Hutchinson, will be closed between 11:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, to allow staff to attend the funeral of former Reno County Treasurer Brenda Kowitz, the county announced Monday.
The register of deeds office, treasurer’s office, and clerk’s office will be closed. The county appraiser’s office will remain available by phone at 620-694-2915 during the closure, the county said.
“We appreciate the public’s understanding as we join the community in honoring Brenda’s many years of dedicated service,” Reno County Register of Deeds Michelle Updegrove said in a news release.
