Now is the time to circle next Monday, Aug. 25, on your calendar. That’s especially true if you enjoy good entertainment at reasonable prices.
Monday is when individual show tickets go on sale for the 2025-26 Fox Theater concert season, and from all indications, this should be a great opportunity to experience quality talent close to home.
We previewed the offerings several months ago when first announced, but for those who have forgotten, here’s what Hutchinson has to look forward to if you haven’t already ordered season tickets for all eight shows at the historic downtown theater and movie palace.
There’s a lot of interest in the first concert by Home Free, a country/pop five-member vocal group landing in our town Sunday evening, Oct. 19, as part of their “Jukebox Tour”. Their Nashville a cappella numbers promise harmony and high energy that have produced six Top Three albums and 830 million YouTube views. Similar to Branson’s popular SIX group of a half dozen brothers, Home Free members use their mouths to make authentic-sounding band-like music to couple with their vocal talent.
Tickets are a modest $55 to $65, and it should be a memorable kickoff to the new Fox season.
Fox-goers will experience quite a change the night of November 5th when “Tilt!” comes to the stage. Cirque Mechanics combines circus acrobatics, big-top magic, and mechanical marvels in a family, young, and young at heart atmosphere.
On Nov. 21, Squirrel Nut Zippers bring jazz from the roaring 20s to the Fox stage, all built around a musical history of New Orleans. Those tickets start as low as $45.
Starting next year, Jan. 23 to be specific, the first of three tribute concerts comes to the Fox. The Brothers Doobie will inspire you to “Listen to the Music” with a ride through unforgettable rock acts of the 1970s. Follow that up on February 20th with the music of Neil Diamond, a show that celebrates an amazing musical icon. And it’s another offering where tickets start at only $45.
Then, next March 7, the Fox Theatre will have its first on-stage ice show. The Wizard of Oz On Ice as world-class skaters perform breathtaking routines to original Disney music.
Fox Executive Director Josh Davies says the show is produced by a group that has brought the unique entertainment to more than ten million people worldwide.
Just a week later, March 14, stand-up comedian Tom Papa brings his “Grateful Bread Tour” to the Fox stage. Papa is known for live performances, screen acting, radio hosting and writing books.
The 2025-26 Fox concert season wraps the night of May 7 with “One Night Of The Bee Gees”. The Stayin’ Alive show will bring a long list of Bee Gees favorites that have become timeless hits. And those tickets also start at just $55.
It’s no wonder, with that kind of a line-up, we highly recommend circulating your calendar for next Monday, Aug 25, when individual show tickets go on sale at 9 AM. They may be purchased online, in person at the Fox box office, or over the phone: 620 663-1981 or 877-Fox-Show.
You can still save 20 percent by purchasing season tickets for all eight shows starting at $328. Season tickets closer to the stage are $392.
Davies says season sales are up about ten percent from last year because of renewed interest in the eight offerings. For the best individual seat tickets, try to make your purchase on Monday when they first go on sale. But individual tickets will continue to be available weekdays at the Fox until each show begins.
