Vype Kansas: Hutchinson’s Rhyan Galyon named Student of the Month
Vype Magazine Kansas has named Hutchinson High School senior-to-be Rhyan Galyoon as its Student of the Month in its June 16 edition.
The feature article on Galyon was written by Matt Browning.
The lead paragraphs of the feature on Galyon:
Hutchinson’s Rhyan Galyon understands the importance of taking care of her body during soccer season.
“The best ways I know to take care of my body is to drink a lot of water and stretch good,” Gaylon said. “I knew this was the best way because staying hydrated keeps my energy up during games and it stops me from getting any type of cramps. Stretching helps me move freely and refrains me from getting any type of muscle strain.”
Browning also wrote features on the Halstead High School baseball and softball teams, Halstead track standout Breeson Bigley and Hutchinson Blue Dragon softball player Brie Brawner (from Haven).
Hutchinson Central Christian golfer Nathan Reed is featured in an article by Ken Hansard.
