The Kansas State Fair announced in a press release that country music star Josh Turner is scheduled to perform on September 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Nex-Tech Grandstand during the 2025 Kansas State Fair. The opening band for Turner is Jason Scott & The High Heat. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 11 on the website kansasstatefair.com.
Marla Parsons, Kansas State Fair Marketing Manager, said, “Anyone signed up for Kansas State Fair emails can get access to tickets with a presale code, starting 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 10.” Interested fairgoers can sign up for emails at kansasstatefair.com.
According to the press release, Josh Turner has sold six million albums and received multiple Platinum certifications which include hit songs, “Long Black Train” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance.” Turner has been a recognized country music performer for two decades. His songs have been streamed 5.8 billion times and his 10th studio album is “This Country Music Thing Tour.”
Opening the show will be Jason Scott & The High Heat, an Oklahoma-based band with a sound described as a blend of rock, country, and folk. According to the band’s website, the band released a new album on March 28 titled “American Grin,” and have hits including “Me & the Bottle (Hungover You)” and “Quittin’ Time.”

Kansas Star Casino VIP Deck – Reserved Table
Reserve a table on the VIP Deck to watch the show from a private table that seats six. In addition to a reserved table for six, this package provides two beverage coupons per person, complimentary appetizers within the VIP Deck area prior to the show, and early entrance to the Grandstand. Each VIP Reserved Table is $800.
