
The Hutchinson Art Center named Emily Kohls as the new director CREDIT HUTCHINSON ART CENTER
The Hutchinson Art Center announced Emily Kohls will be the new executive director of the center.
Kohls replaces John Eberly, who is stepping down at the end of March.
In a press release, the art center said, “We are confident [Kohls] will bring her expertise and talents to the position to help the Hutchinson Art Center grow and thrive, and she is excited for the opportunity to be even more involved in our creative community.”
Kohls has been the center’s media manager for the past few years and has worked as a substitute teacher at Buhler High School. She previously worked as an intern at the Birger Sandzén Memorial Art Gallery in Lindsborg and DoArt at the Kansas State Fair. She is a member of Hutchinson’s Public Art and Design Council.
