The No. 3 Hutchinson Community College football team received a police escort from the Hutchinson and Wichita Police Departments Monday morning to begin their journey to Canyon, Texas.
The blue dragons will face the No. 1 Iowa Western Community College Wednesday evening for the NJCAA Football Championship for the second time in three years.
The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU and is the seventh consecutive NJCAA Football Championship to be aired on national television.
