CAPTION: CREDIT HUTCHINSON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Special Operations Division with The Hutchinson Police Department arrested a man for unlawful sexual acts involving a minor Wednesday.
That’s according to an official press release from the department which was sent to media outlets Thursday morning.
On Nov. 13, 2024, HPD arrested Richard A. Young, 40 YOA of Hutchinson, for the following: Indecent Solicitation of a Child to Commit or Submit to an Unlawful Sex Act, Electronic Solicitation of a Child 14-15 YOA, Sexual Exploitation of a Child, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Interference with Law Enforcement; Destruction of Evidence and Violation of Parole.
Young is being held in the Reno County Correctional Facility in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
This case is still under investigation.
