Hutch High boys soccer team shuts out Wichita West 1-0

The Hutchinson High School boys soccer team shut out the Wichita West Pioneers 1-0 Saturday in the Wichita South Titan Classic.

Hutchinson improved to 2-1.

The Salthawks bounced back from an 8-0 loss to Dodge City Thursday at the South Classic.

Hutchinson defeated Garden City 2-1 last Sunday in the first-round game.

The Salthawks hit the road Tuesday against Andover Central, Sept. 30 at Buhler, Oct. 3 at Arkansas City, Oct. 10 at Derby, Oct. 17 at McPherson and Oct. 24 at Haysville-Campus.

Hutchinson has three straight home against Newton Sept. 17, Andover Sept. 19 and Goddard Eisenhower Sept. 24.

The Salthawks host Valley Center on Oct. 1, Maize South on Oct. 8 (food trucks), Maize on Oct. 15 (Kick Cancer Night) and Salina South on Oct. 22 (Senior Night).
