The Reno County Board of Commissioners will meet on Wed., July 31, at 9 a.m. in the Veteran’s Room at the Reno County Courthouse, 206 W 1st Ave.

Business items will include a discussion about insurance renewal and rates, with a recommendation to change pharmacy benefit managers and add additional benefits through Tria Health. Overall, health and dental premiums are expected to rise by 2.5%.

The Reno County Correctional Facility is asking for $487,239.21 from the county equipment reserve fund to purchase new technology.

The commission will then discuss a water purchase agreement for Yoder Water District 101 with the City of Hutchinson. This may increase water rates paid by Yoder Water District customers.

Finally, the board of commissioners will adjourn into an executive session to discuss matters of non-elected personnel.

The Board of Commissioners meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays each month and on the 5th Wednesday if one falls on the calendar.
